Overview
Photosynthesis is a process by which plants make their own food. They require carbon dioxide from air, and water from the soil to make their food in the form of sugar. This process occurs in the presence of sunlight, and chlorophyll present in the plant’s leaf. The whole process takes place in the chloroplasts of the mesophyll cells of the leaf, and gets completed in two steps: capturing light energy and making sugars.After completing this module, you will be able to:
